'Botanical Reverie' is a textile garment featuring a structured bodice and corset design. I used a tapestry style fabric with detailed flora and fauna as the main material, which I embellished with additional decorative elements. I focused on the shape, construction and detail of the garment, using the existing botanical pattern to guide the placement of embellishment. The combination of the structured corset and richly patterned fabric creates a detailed and visually striking textile piece.
